2017 Fall Bucket List

Monday, September 25, 2017

The first official day of fall is tomorrow and I'm so exited! Last year's bucket list was made with just my boyfriend and I in mind. This year we get to celebrate the season as a family with McKenna! I know she isn't old enough to understand most or any of the activities on my bucket list, but I'm still pretty psyched for her first autumn! Keep reading to see what's on my fall bucket list and why!

Visit a pumpkin patch.

I swear I saw these start to pop up around town as soon as September rolled around. I can't wait to visit a local pumpkin patch and snap a few fall-themed photos with McKenna.

Go to a football game.

One of the best things about fall is football! I haven't been to a game since high school and I must admit that I miss it. We live in a college town so we have no excuse for not going to a game soon.

DIY a new fall wreath.

I haven't made a new wreath for our front door since my DIY ornament wreath for Christmas a a couple years ago. It's still holding up super well which is why I'm itching to make one for fall that we can continue to use year after year. I'm not sure how I want it to look, but I know I want to use burlap as the main material.

Take photos at an apple orchard.

I've been dying to take a day trip to Carter Mountain Orchard and pick apples (or peaches in the summer) and take photos of the gorgeous scenery. I also hear they have some delicious apple cider donuts. I'd take a trip just for those!

Watch scary movies.

I'm not big on scary movies, but I'm determined to watch at least one this year. If you have any favorites or suggestions, leave them in the comments below!

Learn how to bake fall treats.

I love to cook, but I can't bake to save my life. This year, I want to learn how to make an apple pie from scratch and maybe one other fall treat like pumpkin bread.
What's on your fall bucket list this year? Let me know in the comments below!
