I know this is my second pregnancy related post on the blog this week and I promise to slow it down, but I want to share as much of this special time with you guys as I can. I wasn't able to do "bump update" posts due to circumstances beyond my control, so this is my way of making it up to you all! Today is a great day to read Truly Yours, A. because I'm sharing 4 things that made my first-time pregnancy a little easier to handle. There are tons of things your doctor, family, and friends will tell you about what you need for your first pregnancy: the most expensive prenatal vitamins, the latest parenting book, and the best car seat/stroller combo ever made. I'm here to tell you that all of that is irrelevant if you're super uncomfortable during your whole pregnancy. That's why I'm sharing my first-time pregnancy essentials: all of my go-to items that made the past 9 months a little easier and, hopefully, they'll do the same for you!

Y'all I had no idea how fast these past 9 months would fly by. It feels like just yesterday we were telling family and friends and now our little lady is almost here! Each day that passes makes me more and more anxious to meet her. Even though there have been bad times, being pregnant has truly been a blessing and I wouldn't trade this time of my life for anything in the world. I've learned so many things during this time and I wanted to share a little bit of that wisdom with any other first time expecting moms who are a little uneasy. I love writing posts like this because I enjoy sharing my experiences with all of you. Hopefully, it will make you feel a little less alone on your pregnancy journey or you will nod your head in agreement if you have already experienced pregnancy. Continue reading for 6 things I learned during 9 months of pregnancy!

I know the first official day of summer was earlier this week, but I couldn't resist sharing my Summer 2017 Bucket List with you all! My bucket list from last year was pretty good and I managed to cross a few things off it, but I think this year kinda tops it. I'm most looking forward to the Watermelon Festival. I missed it last year because I was working, but I'm determined to make it this year and maybe even take baby McKenna to her first Richmond event!!
What's on your summer bucket list? Let me know in the comments below!
