What I Wish I Packed in Our Hospital Bags

Wednesday, July 18, 2018

This time last year I was on day 2 of labor after being induced to give birth to McKenna. Time has really flown by since then! I only found out I was being induced a few days before, so I was beyond nervous and not at all prepared. I had hospital bags packed for the baby and I weeks earlier (I didn't even get around to packing one for my boyfriend!), but I still forgot a few things. A year later and I'm still thinking of things that would have made a great addition to our hospital bags!

Our Fertility Story

Thursday, October 5, 2017

This is a sponsored conversation from Mums the Word Network and The Stork OTC. All opinions are my own.
#TTCwithStorkOTC #ad I mentioned the beginning of my pregnancy journey in my "I'm Pregnant" life update post. What I didn't mention was our fertility or conception story. Conceiving wasn't the easiest thing in the world, but with a little help from Stork OTC it definitely could have been easier. Keep reading to see how Stork OTC can help with trying to get pregnant!

My First-Time Pregnancy Essentials

Thursday, June 29, 2017

I know this is my second pregnancy related post on the blog this week and I promise to slow it down, but I want to share as much of this special time with you guys as I can. I wasn't able to do "bump update" posts due to circumstances beyond my control, so this is my way of making it up to you all! Today is a great day to read Truly Yours, A. because I'm sharing 4 things that made my first-time pregnancy a little easier to handle. There are tons of things your doctor, family, and friends will tell you about what you need for your first pregnancy: the most expensive prenatal vitamins, the latest parenting book, and the best car seat/stroller combo ever made. I'm here to tell you that all of that is irrelevant if you're super uncomfortable during your whole pregnancy. That's why I'm sharing my first-time pregnancy essentials: all of my go-to items that made the past 9 months a little easier and, hopefully, they'll do the same for you!

6 Things I Learned During 9 Months of Pregnancy

Monday, June 26, 2017

Y'all I had no idea how fast these past 9 months would fly by. It feels like just yesterday we were telling family and friends and now our little lady is almost here! Each day that passes makes me more and more anxious to meet her. Even though there have been bad times, being pregnant has truly been a blessing and I wouldn't trade this time of my life for anything in the world. I've learned so many things during this time and I wanted to share a little bit of that wisdom with any other first time expecting moms who are a little uneasy. I love writing posts like this because I enjoy sharing my experiences with all of you. Hopefully, it will make you feel a little less alone on your pregnancy journey or you will nod your head in agreement if you have already experienced pregnancy. Continue reading for 6 things I learned during 9 months of pregnancy!

Truly Yours, A. is welcoming its first co-blogger into the world on July 31st! That's a pretty good reason for my unexplained disappearing act for the past four months. Keep reading for a quick life update!
