Wishlist Wednesday: Red, White & Blue Favorites

Wednesday, June 29, 2016

We've got less than a week left until we celebrate the summer's biggest holiday - the 4th of July! I love seeing people decked out in red, white, and blue, but I rarely wear these colors on this holiday. This year I promised myself I would add a few patriotic pieces to my closet so I can celebrate in style. This time of year is usually spent outside especially when it's time for fireworks! I've gathered a few of my favorite pieces that will keep you comfortable, cool, and show off your American spirit no matter where you're headed. Keep reading to see my red, white, and blue favorites for the 4th of July!

Save vs Splurge: Laser Cut Wedges

Monday, June 27, 2016

When I tell you guys I have been searching for a dupe to the infamous Jeffrey Campbell "Rodillo-Hi" wedge sandal, I really mean SEARCHING. I have scoured the internet high and low looking for a cheaper, for lack of a better term, but equally gorgeous pair of lace-up laser cut wedges and I finally hit the jackpot! It took me 2 seconds to select my size, add them to my cart, and hit checkout - that's how excited I was about this great find. I honestly couldn't keep these to myself so keep reading to check out where I found the Save version of my laser cut wedges!

My Summer '16 Bucket List

Monday, June 20, 2016

The first official day of summer is today, but in my neck of the woods it's been summer for a couple months now. It didn't feel like we had much a spring here in VA which makes me a little sad because it's my second favorite season (after Fall, of course). Now that it's officially summer I can share my short, but sweet Summer Bucket List with you all. I learned from my December Bucket List to keep it short and simple so I can spend more time actually enjoying myself instead of worrying about crossing tasks off a list. However, I'm super excited to cross these summer to-dos off my list plus a few more!

Keeping It Natural with JORD

Friday, June 17, 2016

*This post is sponsored by JORD Wooden Watches. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

A fashion post sponsored by JORD Wood Watches featuring items from H&M, Missguided, and Ann Taylor. This summer is all about natural textures and patterns for me: snake print, straw handbags, and now wooden watches! I was recently contacted by the good people at JORD Watches and asked if I would like to try out one of their gorgeous timepieces. I said YES without a second thought and I'm so glad I did! It's definitely a unique watch and conversation starter. A lot of people wonder if it's heavy or made from cheap materials and the answer to both questions is no! It's a light watch so it doesn't feel like I'm carrying a log around on my wrist, but it's made from natural Zebrawood and Maple so it will last and last. Keep reading to see how you can win a voucher towards a JORD wood watch of your very own!

Engagement Rings with Anjolee

Wednesday, June 15, 2016

*This post is sponsored by Anjolee. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Looking for a unique engagement ring that nobody else has? Try Anjolee! They offer fully customizable options for engagement rings such as metal type, gemstone quality, and size. The ring also comes in a lit keepsake box for those nighttime proposals! I decided to try their Blissful Princess Engagement Ring and I love it!

I have something I have to tell you guys...I have a wedding-themed Pinterest board. It's called Let's Get Married after that Jagged Edge song (really, really showing my age here) and it's filled with inspiration for tablescapes, flowers, and checklists for the big day. I don't normally obsess over it, but after I received this gorgeous engagement ring from Anjolee I couldn't stop adding things to it. If you follow me on Snapchat (trulyyoursa) you may have already seen a sneak peek of this ring and the amazing box that it comes in - it has a light inside for those intimate, nighttime proposals! Keep reading for an up close look at the ring I received from Anjolee!

Stitch Fix #2

Monday, June 13, 2016

A review of my second Stitch Fix clothing subscription box featuring items from Skies are Blue, Brixon Ivy,and Market & Spruce.

As you guys know I was head-over-heels for my last Stitch Fix. Every piece was amazing and it was so hard to send almost everything back. I still plan on showing off the awesome dress that I did keep so keep your eyes peeled to the blog for that. For my most recent Stitch Fix I asked my stylist to send me a few yellow pieces that I could wear to my Kendra Scott interview. Boy, did she deliver! She sent a couple unique pieces that would make an impression at any interview. I didn't actually end up wearing any of the pieces from my Stitch Fix to the interview and I still managed to get the job. I'm so excited to be part of the Kendra Scott family! Keep reading to see what I got in my Stitch Fix and my thoughts.

A Rocksbox subscription post featuring jewelry from Kendra Scott, Moon & Lola, and a.v. max.

It's been quite a while since I've shared a Rocksbox set with you all. To be honest, I put my subscription on hold for a while because I wanted to try finding awesome jewelry on my own. I did okay, but I really missed having someone else pick out amazing pieces that I wouldn't have found on my own. This latest set was the perfect welcome back box and I'm super excited to share it all with you guys! Keep reading to see what I got, what I'll be keeping, and what I'll be sending back from Rocksbox #5!
