Truly Yours, A. officially turned 2 on July 11th, but I was a little busy with McKenna's arrival so I didn't have time to celebrate or put up this post! I still find it hard to believe that 2 years ago I decided to put all my fears behind me and just start this blog. I was 100% sure that nobody would even care about what I had to say and that blogging would be another hobby I would give up after a few months. I'm so glad I didn't listen to that pessimistic voice inside my head because has been an amazing 2 year journey. I've had more than my share of hiatuses, but I've always come back because I truly love writing and sharing it all with you guys. Today's post isn't just about how many years this blog has been on the internet, but a culmination of everything I've learned over the past couple of years as well. Twisted Love with Sweetest Stitch

If you follow me on Snapchat, you might remember me posting about a shoot I was doing with other RVA bloggers. I am so thrilled to say that that shoot was for a local clothing boutique called Sweetest Stitch! Fizz & Frosting, According to Blaire, I Heart Vegetables, My Closet and Hers, Sweet Sauce Blog, and I all came together for a super fun evening of celebrating Sweetest Stitch. it was so much fun meeting a few of my favorite bloggers and owner of Sweetest Stitch and I cannot wait to collaborate with them in the future. I absolutely LOVE all of Sweetest Stitch's clothing especially this twist front dress. I can't wait to wear this super cute dress for warm weather with sandals and when it gets cooler with a cardigan and booties. Cool Carolina Blue

Off the shoulder tops and dresses have been my favorite things about this summer. I honestly can't get enough and my closet (and wallet!) have been begging for me to stop! I'm really excited to bring this trend into fall and pair it with my favorite jeans and booties. Until then this off shoulder top from H&M will be in (what's left of) my summer rotation. Truly Yours, A. Turns 1!

Today is a very special occasion in my little corner of the Internet: my blog turns 1! Exactly one year ago today, I published my first blog post. It was a Truly My Way post all about my plans for expanding my blog's reach before I even had any. Since then my blog has come a long way: it has evolved into fashion, beauty, and lifestyle blog where I can show my love for shopping, trying out new products, and my random musings. Save vs Splurge: Laser Cut Wedges

When I tell you guys I have been searching for a dupe to the infamous Jeffrey Campbell "Rodillo-Hi" wedge sandal, I really mean SEARCHING. I have scoured the internet high and low looking for a cheaper, for lack of a better term, but equally gorgeous pair of lace-up laser cut wedges and I finally hit the jackpot! It took me 2 seconds to select my size, add them to my cart, and hit checkout - that's how excited I was about this great find. I honestly couldn't keep these to myself so keep reading to check out where I found the Save version of my laser cut wedges!

Truly Drunk on Blush & Blue

When the 2016 Pantone Colors of the Year were announced I was a little hesitant to embrace them: the colors just felt very juvenile compared to the previous year's color. I can honestly say that I've had a complete change of heart after seeing these colors everywhere. They've definitely grown on me and I'm loving them both for this season! I feel like spring is the perfect time to wear the 2016 Colors of the Year - Rose Quartz (blush pink) and Serenity (baby blue). Lucky for me Stephanie, from Drunk on Vogue, graciously accepted my request for a collaboration to showcase these gorgeous colors. Stephanie is another RVA blogger and her style is so unique and effortless - I swear she could make a paper bag look amazing! To be completely honest, I'm more in love with Stephanie's outfit than my own! Her beautiful Serenity blue dress is from Mint Julep Boutique, one of my favorite places to shop. They have so many Rose Quartz and Serenity pieces that it's impossible to choose just one.
