Truly Yours, A. officially turned 2 on July 11th, but I was a little busy with McKenna's arrival so I didn't have time to celebrate or put up this post! I still find it hard to believe that 2 years ago I decided to put all my fears behind me and just start this blog. I was 100% sure that nobody would even care about what I had to say and that blogging would be another hobby I would give up after a few months. I'm so glad I didn't listen to that pessimistic voice inside my head because has been an amazing 2 year journey. I've had more than my share of hiatuses, but I've always come back because I truly love writing and sharing it all with you guys. Today's post isn't just about how many years this blog has been on the internet, but a culmination of everything I've learned over the past couple of years as well. Keep reading for little bits of blogging advice and a colorful style look, too!
Blogging has taught me so many things that I couldn't even begin to list them all here. I will say that the biggest takeaway for me has been to never give up. Blogging takes so much work and dedication by itself. Combine that with working and a social life and it just seems like there's never enough time in the day to get everything done. I love making lists, so writing down everything I need to do and crossing it off as it gets done is the easiest way to prevent that overwhelming feeling. If I have a lot going on then only a couple of tasks get crossed off at a time, but eventually they all get done.
