Today on Truly Yours, A. I'm sharing my most recent Stitch Fix. I was pretty excited about all of the pieces I received and I couldn't wait to share them all with you!
Papermoon Bastille Tulip Sleeve Blouse - $44
This dainty, cream-colored blouse was a fun pick from my stylist. I honestly don't own anything like it in my closet so I was pretty anxious to try it on. I instantly fell in love with the sleeves which are the most unique part of the shirt. The only downside was the color - white/off-white/ivory/cream and I don't get along...AT ALL. I always find a way to ruin my lighter colored clothes, but I am learning to be more careful about that. Verdict: Going back. I would have loved to have kept this top, but I think I would like it better in black.
Renee C Lidia Printed Swing Skirt - $64
This skirt was definitely one of the most interesting items I had received. The cutouts were fun and the navy color was an instant hit with me. I couldn't find a single thing i didn't like about this skirt! However, I don't wear a lot of skirts and I probably should have kept this piece just based on that fact. Verdict: Going back. I'm already regretting sending this piece back and I'll probably ask for it to be resent in the future. This skirt would be a great dressier piece for spring or summer.
Papermoon Violeta Scallop Detail Blouse - $44
Scalloped pieces have been my obsession for the past year. Anytime I find a scalloped hem dress, blouse, or shorts I am instantly in love. My Stitch Fix stylist noticed this and sent me this lovely scallop detail blouse. I thought this shirt was a little boring until I looked at the back and saw the cutest cutout detail! It was just enough to make this shirt stand out and end up in my closet. Verdict: Keeping! I've already worn this shirt (with these same white jeans) for my recent anniversary dinner with my boyfriend. It was a great way to be cute and feminine and stay cool in this outrageous Virginia heat.
Street Level Alber Suede Detail Crossbody - $58
I love a good crossbody bag. You don't have to carry your bag on your arm or in your hand and it keeps you from lugging around unnecessary items and what's not to love about that? This suede crossbody bag by Street Level was an interesting pick from my stylist. I am a definite fan of the blush color and I liked that I could remove the straps and use this bag as a clutch. Verdict: Going back. The suede is right on trend, but I could already see myself spilling something on this bag and ruining it forever. I just couldn't deal with type of pressure (insert sweating emoji)!
Loveappella Gaura Back Detail Knit Top - $54
Another shirt with an unsuspected detail on the back! My stylist definitely knows something about me that I never noticed until now - I love small (or big), interesting details on simple tops! It's a great spice up a boring wardrobe. This top from Loveappella is no exception! It looks like an ordinary 3/4 sleeve top with off-white and navy stripes, but the back features the cutest bow and cutout detailing. This shirt would be very cute with leggings and boots in the fall. Verdict: Going back. I'm probably going to regret sending this top back. I really loved the length, cut, and color so you may see it again in a future Fix!
Overall, I'd give this Fix a 3 out of 5. A lot of the colors (navy and off-white) are very me, but not for this time of year. If you saw my blog birthday post you'd know I love bright colors for summer! Looking to get your own Stitch Fix?
