As a naturally curly girl fall and winter are the best seasons for me to straighten my hair. There's no humidity so it reduces my chances of my hair reverting back to it's natural state. During this time I like to play around with tons of different looks, but my all-time favorite fall hairstyle is ponytails. This simple style has so many variations that are perfect for anything such as rolling out of bed late for class or a well put together work look. THE HALF UP HALF DOWN
This is one of my favorite hairstyles no matter what time of year it is! To achieve this look I parted my hair in two sections. I applied the extensions to the bottom half of my hair making sure to leave enough out to cover any of the tracks. I installed a couple of the smaller sized extensions to the top half of my hair and pulled it into a high ponytail using an ouch-less elastic. I twisted the ends of the ponytail then wrapped it around the base and secured the ends with another elastic or bobby pins. This is a super cute look for day of fun, fall activities!
THE SLEEK SIDE PONY
I love this put together pony for job interviews or keeping my hair off my face while working out. This one of the easiest hairstyles that appropriate for almost anything. To achieve this look I parted my hair deeply on one side. I installed the Silky Touch clip-in extensions normally then pulled my hair into a low ponytail. I secured the pony with an ouch-less elastic and I'm all done. Use bobby pins or a little hair gel or spray to tame any fly-aways and you're ready for anything!
THE MESSY TOPKNOT
This style requires a little more work than the last two, but the outcome is definitely worth it! I pulled my own hair into a high ponytail in the middle of my head and left out enough hair around the perimeter to cover any extensions. I applied the extensions in a circular pattern around the ponytail then covered it with my own hair when finished. I pulled all the hair into a high ponytail and secured it with an elastic. I took the hair in two sections and tied them together in a knot. Taking the loose ends, I wrapped them around the base of the ponytail in opposite directions then secured them with bobby pins. The end result is a messy topknot ponytail that's perfect for hitting the gym or brunch with friends!
I definitely couldn't have achieved these hairstyles without the help of my clip-in extensions. They add just the right amount of volume and length when my own hair won't cut it. I've been working on growing my hair out this summer and I'm seeing a lot of progress. Until I reach my dream length, I can't wait to rock all three of these ponytails this fall with the help of Irresistible Me!
