Keep it Tight(s)

Tights are a lifesaver when it comes to wearing dresses in the fall. Not only do they provide extra warmth, but with so many cute patterns available why would you not want to wear them?! Going out in bare legs is a risk few are willing to take when the temp drops below 50 so for those extra chilly excursions fleece-lined tights or even leggings are sure to save the day!

There's Layers to This

Layers are your best friend this time of year! Whether it's a jacket over an off should dress or a turtleneck under a shift dress, layers will definitely keep you warm AND stylish. My favorite pieces to layer over or under dresses to make them fall-appropriate are sweaters, blazers, vests, denim jackets, or basic long sleeve tees.

Step Up Your Bootie Game

If you're not a fan of tights or leggings over the knee (OTK) or thigh high boots are the way to go. Finding the right pair may take a little bit of trial and error, but once you find them you'll never want to take them off! If you're still a little cold while wearing them try a thick pair of knee-high socks. My personal favorites are these wool-blend socks from H&M!
