Thanksgiving is only a few short days away and I could not be more excited! This holiday is easily my all-time favorite; I love spending time with family and looking back on the year and remembering everything I am thankful for. I still haven't finalized my Thanksgiving plans, but that doesn't mean I can't have my outfit picked out for my favorite time of the year! Lately, I have been leaning towards dresses - swing, babydoll, off the shoulder, you name and I've probably worn it in the past couple of weeks. I know a lot of people steer away from this item of clothing during this time of year because of the weather, but I'm here to tell you that you can make ANY dress work for cooler temps! Currently May

I'm just gonna go ahead and say it - the month of April flew by! I swear it was just April 9th the last time I checked my calendar. 2016 is going by so fast; it'll be the blog's first birthday before I know it! I'm trying to plan something special for that (it won't be until July) so stay tuned. One of the most consistent posts on my blog is the Currently link up with Jenna of Gold & Bloom and Anne of Anne in Residence. I can't praise these ladies and their link up enough. Currently April

April is here and spring is in full swing! That totally rhymed and I promise it's the last time I do that...maybe. Spring to me means the return of gorgeous weather, allergy season, and new fashion. This new month also means a new Currently link-up with Anne from Anne in Residence and Jenna from Gold & Bloom. This is one of my favorite link-ups and I wouldn't miss it for anything because Jenna and Anne are the sweetest ladies. I love that they take the time to read and comment on blogs from their link-up! It amazes me how they come up with ideas for each month because I can barely think about what I plan on posting next week. March is finally upon us! The groundhog didn't see his shadow last month so that means spring weather should be here any day now. Seriously, I'll take those temps over 50 now thanks. It snowed again this past week so I'm not sure when that will happen, but I can't wait. February Blogging Goals

I can't believe the first month of the year is already over and it's almost Valentine's Day. Where has the time gone?! January was good to me so I'm a little bummed to see it go, but I'm just as excited for February (it's my birthday month!!). Last month I set 5 blogging goals that I wanted to accomplish. I managed to cross a few off my list, but others kinda got away from me. Keep reading to see which ones I knocked out of the park and which ones I need to keep working on!

Currently February

sending: Out positive vibes. I'm a firm believer in speaking things into existence so no more negative statements!

eating: Birthday cake ice cream since it's my birthday! I don't like cake (unless it's cheesecake or ice cream cake) so I'm celebrating with a couple of scoops today.

dreaming: Of spring weather. I normally love winter, but I'm over it now. I can't wait to be able to ditch the layers and leave the house in just a shirt and jeans.

smelling: A vanilla mousse candle I got from Target. Vanilla is my all-time favorite scent!

hearting: Yoga! I've started following along with Yoga with Adriene's videos on YouTube and I love it. I find it so relaxing and I even plan on writing about it for the blog so keep checking back for that.

organizing -- my second bedroom. There's so much junk in here that needs to be thrown away. I'm ready to start spring cleaning and it's only January.

loving -- complete series on Netflix. I'm currently watching Sons of Anarchy and I can't wait to get started on The Vampire Diaries or Scandal.

craving -- hot fudge sundaes! My favorites are from McDonald's and I'm not sure why I'm so obsessed with them. I normally dislike ice cream in January because it's too cold!
