Navy Blues

Thursday, April 21, 2016

If you had to choose one neutral color to wear for the rest of your life, what would it be? Mine would be navy blue with black being a veryclose second. It might (or not) come as a shock that one of my favorite colors for any season is this particular shade of dark blue. This versatile yet simple shade has slowly taken over my closet the past few months, but I'm not complaining one bit. I love that I can pair this color with so many other shades for spring - Rose Quartz, Serenity, white, red, coral, gold, nude, neon pink - the possibilities are endless! One of my most favorite navy color combinations is with cognac and gold. The colors compliment each other so well and just has a preppy feel to it. I'll definitely be wearing (and posting) lots of navy blue looks this season. Keep reading to see my extremely casual take on one of my favorite colors!

This relaxed peplum tank from Old Navy is one of my new favorites for spring - I want it in every color! This is actually the first peplum top I've ever bought and I'm hooked. This silhouette is so flattering and easily covers any bumps or lumps. I'm pumped to add more peplum tops to my wardrobe this spring! I'm also super pumped about the tassel on this saddle bag, also from Old Navy! It combines two of the season's biggest trends in bags and it even comes in a beautiful blush color. It's easily become my new everyday bag even though I rarely carry purses! It might seem like this post is sponsored by Old Navy, but I'm just extremely happy with their clothing as of late. I can't wait to sneak in a trip later this week to see what new arrivals they have!

What's your favorite color for spring? Shopped at Old Navy lately? Tell me all about it in the comments below!
