Summer is so close to being over and I almost can't believe it. We're so close to fall and that means we're even closer to fall fashion. One of my favorite ways to transition to fall fashion is to incorporate more jewel tones into my wardrobe. Think darker, moodier hues like burgundy, navy, emerald, and, my new favorite, spicy mustard. This color has been a fall staple for years and I can totally see why!

Happy Hump Day, y'all! Tomorrow is the last day of the month which means we're one day closer to fall! Don't get me wrong; I love summer. Probably more than I should, but fall will always be my first love. It might be the leaves changing or the chill in the air or the multitude of fall activities; whatever it is, I can't wait for it! In my neck of the woods the weather has cooled down just a little bit and some of my favorite fall pieces have come out to play including this blouse from Pink Blush!

#Ladylike in Plum

When I saw this plum floral dress in the window at H&M I knew I had to have it! I loved the print and color so much that I looked online for more pieces that featured it and was met with H&M's fall women's campaign all about reclaiming the word #Ladylike and redefining it. Strong, independent, free-willed, entertaining, opinionated, off-beat, and fearless. Do these words come to mind when you think about the term 'ladylike?' If the answer is yes then you get a cookie! JK, but seriously I think being a combination of these things is pretty close to being #Ladylike.

The first official day of autumn isn't until September 22nd, but it's never too early to invest in a new handbag for fall! Chloé has some of the best designer bags for this upcoming season. I'm a little obsessed with finding less expensive versions of their amazing bags as seen here. This fall I'm loving their Hudson cross body bags. From the intricate stitching to the still on trend tassel embellishment - this bag has everything you need to stay fashionable this fall! Of course, a bag this pretty comes with a not-so-pretty price tag: depending on the size this bag can cost up to $2300! For this post I am featuring the Chloé "medium" Hudson bag which retails for $2,150! For those of use who cannot afford to dish out that much moola, I've found a less expensive alternative. Truly Versatile Style

Today's outfit post is all about versatility. Versatile items make it so much easier to get dressed in the morning or for a night out. My favorite versatile items are all black and I don't know about you guys, but I'm more into black now that I am during the winter. It just goes with EVERYTHING and it's so easy to get dressed in the morning when everything you own is black. Of course, an all black outfit is made even better when army green, gold, and nude are added; It's one of my favorite color combinations for any time of year. This utility vest also goes with everything as well and I've worn it several times since I've gotten it.  One of my favorite ways is to layer it over a striped shirt which I did here and also over on Instagram. I don't know what it is about this vest and stripes, but they go perfectly together! I would love to layer it over a white lace or striped t-shirt dress for spring.
