Beating the Summer Bulge with alli®

I’ll be the first to admit that I’m not the most confident person in front of a camera. As a fashion blogger, confidence in front of the camera is a major key. One of my biggest confidence killers is my weight. It’s been a part of myself that I’ve struggled with the past couple of years and it’s what initially forced me to put my dreams of fashion blogging on hold. Luckily, I got over that hurdle, but part of me is still hesitant to try new trends and fully dive into fashion blogging based on my weight. Back to school season is right around the corner and even though I’m not going to school, this time of year is all about starting fresh and setting new goals. I plan on smashing my weight loss goals by eating right, exercising, and a little help from alli® weight loss aid. Now that summer BBQs and vacations are over it’s time to get serious about my weight loss. I’ve already made steps to accomplishing my goals by drinking more water and using the reminders to move on my FitBit. Keep reading to see how you can implement these easy steps into your busy lifestyle without spending a dime! #ad #sponsored #allInMyLife #CollectiveBias

Denim & Drusy

Friday, August 26, 2016

Drusy stones are one of my new favorite trends in jewelry (the other is rose gold, but more about that later). These glittering stones are perfect for adding a little sparkle to any outfit without being in-you-face like a diamond. It won't matter what day of the week it is and you'll catch me in a piece of drusy jewelry. I truly haven't met a drusy that I didn't like! Luckily (unlucky for my wallet), my job allows me to indulge in all things shiny and rocky. Today's post is all about combining my current obsessions: drusy jewelry and denim ensembles!

My 4th and Final Stitch Fix

Wednesday, August 24, 2016

I can't say I'm 100% thrilled with this Fix. I did leave my stylist a note asking for certain pieces, but received none of the items on my list. She did try to send similar items, but I still wasn't impressed. I usually sneak a peek at what I'm receiving in my Stitch Fix boxes by checking the Checkout page. After reading some of the descriptions and looking some of the pieces up on Pinterest I could tell that I was not going to like anything in this box. When my box finally arrived my feelings were affirmed and I almost didn't want to review this box for you guys. However, I wanted to give you my honest opinion on this subscription box service. Keep reading to see why this is my fourth and final Stitch Fix review.

She did try to send similar items, but I still wasn't impressed. I think the reason I am disappointed in this box is because I didn't feel like anything in this box was selected with my personal style in mind. The "stylists" like to claim they get inspiration from my Pinterest boards, but I feel like the pieces are just thrown in a box depending on your size and what's available. Cool Carolina Blue

Friday, August 19, 2016

Off the shoulder tops and dresses have been my favorite things about this summer. I honestly can't get enough and my closet (and wallet!) have been begging for me to stop! I'm really excited to bring this trend into fall and pair it with my favorite jeans and booties. Until then this off shoulder top from H&M will be in (what's left of) my summer rotation. Keep reading to see more of this cool blue outfit!
