Chunky Knit Sweater + Duck Boots

Wednesday, January 13, 2016

I still can't believe winter is finally here. The Winter Heat Wave of 2015 is hopefully long gone, but you never know. I'm really praying for snow sometime before spring hits. This wintry outfit was the perfect opportunity to show off my latest Rocksbox pieces from Loren Hope and Gorjana. It's supposed to snow today, so I'm hoping to put this outfit in snowball fight action soon! The super thick knit keeps me warm no matter how cold it is outside. A chunky sweater is a great starting point if you're putting together an outfit featuring duck boots!

I'm currently living in this jegging sweater from American Eagle! They come in so many colors and are an absolute must for the cold weather. I have very few sweaters in my arsenal so one as versatile as this is golden. I love wearing it with duck boots for warmth, but also love it with leggings and booties for a night out. I like to think this outfit combines both of those ideas with my trusty Sperry's and small statement necklace by Loren Hope. This amazing necklace came in my latest Rocksbox (which I still haven't sent back yet!). I'm still loving the Gorjana bracelet and the Kendra Scott earrings are growing on me. I actually can't wait to show you guys how I style them for Valentine's Day.

I'm also a huge fan of the wool socks (you can barely see) for keeping my feet nice and toasty. If you don't have a pair, I highly suggest getting a pair - they're amazing for lounging around the house! I love putting on mine and curling up on the couch with a good book. Speaking of good books, I just finished #GIRLBOSS and LOVED it! I'll be posting a review of the book really soon and I've already written a guest post for another blog on it. I can't wait for you guys to read both; hopefully they'll inspire you as much as the book did for me. I need more book suggestions so leave them in the comments below! Thanks for reading!
