If you look in my closet you’ll see a multitude of patterns, but stripes rule them all! I already own a striped sweater dress from Forever 21 (last seen here) and it’s one of my favorite outfit starters. With all the rich colors in my latest sweater dress purchase, all I need is a pair of booties, tights, vest, and jewelry and I’m ready for anything!
Before I took these photos the BF and I took McKenna to her first holiday parade on on Main Street. Since we live close by we decided to walk and this outfit managed to be the perfect ensemble for the day! This J. Crew Factory puffer vest was the ideal item that kept me just the right amount of warm on a blustery Sunday afternoon. I didn't think I would get much wear out of this vest because of the color, but I've found myself reaching for it more lately than any of my other puffer vests! I really love the way it looks paired with this striped top from my Pumpkin Spice Stripes outfit.
I think this outfit would make the perfect Thanksgiving outfit if you have multiple Thanksgiving dinners to attend like I do. The vest replaces any bulky coat and keeps you from overheating once you're inside. The dress has tons of stretch which is a huge plus for hiding that extra helping of mac and cheese we all can't resist. These H&M booties are the most gorgeous shade of burgundy and the low heel makes them super comfy, but still a little dressy. Overall, I would say this is the ultimate Thanksgiving look!
